Results from HeartFlow’s first multicenter study (DISCOVER-FLOW) were published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) in November 2011. DISCOVER-FLOW was a prospective multicenter study to determine the diagnostic performance of FFR_CT compared to measured FFR at the time of invasive coronary angiography (ICA) in patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease (CAD). FFR_CT was performed on 159 vessels in 103 patients undergoing coronary computed tomographic angiography (CCTA), ICA, and FFR.

FFR_CT led to a 70% reduction in false positives and 25% improvement in per-vessel diagnostic accuracy when compared to CCTA. For more information, please click the thumbnails below.
